Cosmetology Continuing Education


Welcome to the Cosmetology Edu Classes continuing education course designed for any licensed cosmetologists employed within State of North Carolina. These courses are for any cosmetologist who needs to obtain continuing education credits in order to meet State of State of North Carolina continuing ed requirements; this may include Hairstylists, Manicurists (Nail Technicians), Estheticians, Licensed Specialists, or any individual who desires training. All courses have been  designed for those who want the best training in the least amount of time.

This course is self-paced. At any given point, users may stop or start the training material. When ready, come back to this site and log in with your username and password.

CE Exemptions:

  • Licensees who are actively practicing as a Cosmetologist and has at least 20 years of consecutive years of experience as a cosmetologist may apply for an exemption from CE requirements. 20 Year Work Exemption Form
  • Licensees who are 60 years of age or older with 10 years of continuous work experience may apply for an exemption from CE. This does not include teachers licenses. 60 Years of AGE with 10 Years Experience Form

Cosmetology Edu Classes - Continuing Education

These courses are designed to help you and/or your business succeed. With this goal in mind, our comprehensive course packages assist in developing and insuring your sanitation policies and procedures, as well as reinforcing your salon management practices.

Once you have completed a course package, you can print your North Carolina Cosmetology CE Certificate of Completion. You are responsible for maintaining records of completed CE hours and reporting them to the North Carolina Board of Cosmetic Arts Examiners. 

Reporting CE Hours

Once you have completed a course package, you will be able to print your Cosmetology Edu Classes Certificate of Completion. As the student, you are responsible for submitting your North Carolina Cosmetology CE hours to the North Carolina Board of Cosmetic Art Examiners, and for maintaining records of any CE hours received from the course.

Cosmetologist License Renewal Information

Renewal and any payment of license renewal fee are the responsibility of the license holder.
